I’ve always been fascinated with the power of music.

profile1Sometimes, music brings you back a vision, a feeling, a scene, or a memory.
You watch a movie, and a year later, you hear the soundtrack. Sometimes the music brings you back the moment in the movie, or the feeling you had back then.

Music has its own entertainment value, but when music accompanies other arts, it works like a booster. It works like a secret ingredient.

My mission is to achieve the magic of music. I try to create music which is not just a piece of work, but a piece that brings that special flavor, depth, or atmosphere to your project.

My Short Biography:

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. My family loves music and I became a music fan quite naturally.

Chibi_SatoAt the age of 3, I began playing the piano and it became an important tool for me to express myself. Throughout my childhood I discovered and practiced with lots of different musical genres and instruments. When I was in high school, I started to listen to a lot of movie / musical / game soundtracks and eventually I started to want to be a music composer.

I went to Kunitachi College Of Music and majored Music Composition. I studied music theory (analysis, harmony, and counterpoint), music composition, orchestration, as well as piano, vocal music, music therapy, psychology and Japanese linguistics.
Currently I live in Silicon Valley working as a full-time music composer.
