What’s “Project: Composition”?
“Project: Composition” is a challenge where I pull random cards from the piles of “Genre / Style”, “Situation / Place” and “Mood”, combine them, and make music which matches the theme.
This project is to push my creativity further as well as just for fun!
Here are the rules :
1. Draw three cards from three piles. The piles are as follows : Genre / Style, Situation / place, and Mood.
2. Draw a tarot card to reference for the situation / imagination.
3. Create a piece based on the selected cards.
4. Upload the piece on SoundCloud and blog about it here.
I’ll do this at least once a month, unless there’s a big project going on.
The pieces created within this project will be available in our upcoming Royalty Free Music store, which I’m planning to launch this year. If you hear a piece you like, be sure to check with us again!
